Honey
Bees may take up residence in walls of houses, garages, sheds, etc.
They can be removed and relocated by opening the wall either from inside
or outside. The open wall makes it possible to vacuum out the bees and
remove the comb with brood and honey intact. It is important not to
leave wax and honey in the wall as it may attract other insects or quite
possibly other bees that might decide to occupy the same space.
Bumble
Bees are the familiar big and fuzzy bees in
your garden. They are usually slow and docile, but can sting when
annoyed. They may nest in the ground, in bushes or in birdhouses, and
will also enter homes through small holes to nest in attics. They are
wonderful pollinators so DON'T KILL THEM. They can often be removed and
relocated to finish their summer work elsewhere if you don't want them
in your yard.
German
Wasps often enter houses through small holes
and build nests inside the walls, attic or crawlspace under the house.
Exterminators poison them in-place, but if you prefer a POISON-FREE
alternative, we can open the wall or go into the attic or crawlspace and
remove them.
Bald-Faced Hornets and Aerial Yellowjackets make the classic round
paper nests often found in trees, bushes and on buildings. The insects
and their nest are put in a bucket and removed from your property.
Western
Yellowjackets look very similar to aerial
Yellowjackets, but they nest in the ground. They must be dug up to
remove the nest.
Paper
Wasps make an uncovered paper comb/nest usually under eaves,
carports or patio covers. They are removed in the same manner as hornets
and Yellowjackets.
